Media World is proud to be supplying production management and animation services for the fourth season of the Logie award-winning children’s animation series, Little J & Big Cuz. This fourth season of 10 x 12 min episodes brings the total number of episodes in the series to 50 x 12 min. The new episodes are slated for release on NITV and ABC in winter 2024, together with more episodes re-versioned in Indigenous Languages.
Little J & Big Cuz is Australia’s first long-form animation series featuring contemporary Indigenous Australian characters. Voiced by Deborah Mailman and Miranda Tapsell and directed by Tony Thorne, with scripts by a team of First Nations writers, the fourth series of Little J & Big Cuz has been commissioned by NITV and the ABC. The series is produced by Ned Lander Media and Old Dog Pictures and co-produced by Media World Pictures and Blue Rocket Productions.
The language versions produced so far include episodes in each of the following languages:
Arrernte, Pitjantjatjara, Djambarrpuyngu, Walmajarri, Yawuru, palawa kani, Warlpiri, Torres Strait Creole, Djambarrpuyngu, Gija, Noongar, Wiradjuri, Kunwinjku, Roper Kriol, Luritja-Pintupi and Rirratingu-Dhuwaya.
